I may be non-binary, but on this International Womxn’s Day, I continue to strive to fight for the liberation of ALL womxn, femmes, and non-binary folks as issues such as reproductive justice and abortion access, pay equality, the ERA, health care, and LGBTQ+ rights affect all genders, and systemic racism, homophobia, transphobia, biphobia, xenophobia, misogyny, ableism, and fatphobia impact us all. As Audré Lorde once said, “I am not free while any woman is unfree, even when her shackles are very different from my own,” and we need to continue to strive to make everyone free.

Genderisover IfYouWantIt
Ten, fifteen years ago, there were no resources for people like me. What people I saw that were even a little bit like me in media were generally white, and not exactly portrayed in a flattering light. Nearly everything on trans or GNC people was written, photographed and interpreted through a purely cis, often heterosexual cis white male POV. Now that’s changing. And I would like it to continue to change.
gender is over if you want it
